Installation Guide for Fullmark Cartridge

Step 1

Before installing the cartridge into the printer, tear off the "Please Tear Here" portion from the label on the cartridge. DO NOT REMOVE THE WHOLE LABEL as this may cause leakage.

Step 2

Lift the clamp on the cartridge holder in the printer, remove the empty cartridge and insert the new cartridge properly.

Step 3

Close the clamp until it snaps into place with a solid "click". This indicates that the rubber seal on the cartridge has been punctured.

Step 4

Immediately run the printer through a cleaning cycle. (Refer to the printer manual - Cleaning the Print Head). This enables the ink to be flushed from the cartridge to the print head.

Step 5

When an ink cartridge has been newly installed, you must allow the printer to finish its charging cycle (this takes place automatically in the printer immediately after you install the ink cartridge). This charging cycle is for the ink from the cartridge to be fully flushed to the print head in the printer. If this is not done, white streaks or blank printing occurs. When this happens, perform the cleaning cycle a few times to pump the ink through to the print head (Refer to manual - Cleaning the Print Head).

Troubleshooting Guide for Fullmark Cartridge

Step 1

In the event that the "Ink out" light remains ON after a brand new cartridge is loaded.

Turn printer off at power point.
Switch off the printer. Wait for 15 seconds.
Turn on the power point. Then switch on the printer.

If "ink out" light is still on, remove the cartridge and reinstall it one more time. Note: This can only be done ONCE.

The printer "Ink out" sensor should recover and function normally after this one time reloading.

Step 2

If white streaks occur during printing, clean the print head according to the cleaning procedure (refer to printer manual).

Helpful Tips

Replace cartridge as soon as "ink out" light blinks.
Attempting to print with an empty cartridge may damage the printer.
Do not move the print head unit by hand. Always use the buttons.
Never turn off the printer while the PAUSE light is flashing.
